A few of the juniors prior to the first Little League game for the 2025/26 summer season
As the summer junior baseball season comes to a close, it’s a great moment to reflect on the energy, growth and spirit shown by our young Aviators across both the Little League and SL70 teams for the 2025/26 summer season. From the first training sessions through to the final games, the season has been filled with development, teamwork and plenty of memorable moments at the ballpark.
Our Little League team had a fantastic season, culminating in a well-deserved place in the finals. The group showed tremendous improvement across the year, building their skills, confidence and understanding of the game each week. Making the finals is a great achievement and a reflection of the effort put in by the players, coaches and families who support the team. Regardless of the final result, the journey to the finals is something the entire club is proud of.
The SL70 team also had a strong season, with players continuing to develop their hitting, fielding and game awareness. For many players this division is an important step in their baseball journey, and it has been great to see the growth in both individual ability and team play across the season.
A big thank you must go to our coaches Andrew and Neil, and all those who volunteered on game days, whose time and dedication make junior baseball possible each year. Their commitment helps create an environment where young players can learn the game, build friendships and enjoy being part of the Aviators community.
Most importantly, congratulations to all of our junior players. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship and willingness to learn are what make the Aviators such a great club.
Grounded. Never. ✈️
